Each stage has at least two substages, usually called early and fully.

I'm pretty sure it's the "Preoperational stage" ages 2 to 7.

The Preoperational stage is when the Child starts to think more symbolically and learning different words and pictures to represent objects. When they hit this stage they start to be egocentric .
