Answer:

  • 120 : 100
  • 36 : 30
  • 24 : 20

Step-by-step explanation:

Ratios are fractions, so 6 : 5 is the same that 6 / 5

Equivalent ratios are equivalent fractions.

You can generate equivalent fractions by multiplying or dividing the numerator and the denominator of a fraction by the same factor.

This is valid because multiplying the numerator and denominator of a fraction by the same factor is equivalent to multiply by 1.

This is a demonstration:

(6)/(5).1=(6)/(5).(a)/(a)=(6a)/(5a)\\ \\ (6)/(5).1=(6)/(5).(3)/(3)=(18)/(15)

three equivalent ratios for 6:5

To find equivalent ratios we multiply by any number

Lets multiply the ratio by 2

We multiply each number by 2

6 * 2:5 * 2, so ratio becomes 12 : 10

Lets multiply the ratio by 3

6 * 3:5 * 3, so ratio becomes 18 : 15

Lets multiply the ratio by 4

6 * 4:5 * 4, so ratio becomes 24 : 20

So three equivalent ratios are 12: 10 , 18:15 , 24: 20
