7x - 9 = -4x + 90

11x - 9 = 90

11x = 99

x = 9

You can check by substituting the 9 for the x value.

7(9) - 9 = -4(9) + 90

63 - 9 = -36 + 90

54 = 54

7x-9=-4x+90
You need to put x in one side.
So it will be 7x+4x=90+9
11x=99 now divide 11 on both sides
11x/11 = 99/11
So final answer is x=9
