The answer is either 8 if you divide or 5 if multiply it.

8 days because you multipy 1/10 × 8 = 8/10 of after you simplify it you get 4/5. I hope it helps.
Another Example:
1/10 * × = 4/5 * 1
× = 4 × 10/5 = 8
So it will take him 8 days
