1/6 during a rain storm 1/10 inches of rain fell

6/6= one hour 6x 1/10= 6/10 inches

12/6 = 2 hours 12 x 1/10= 12/10 inches

15/6 = 2 and a half hours 15/10 = how much rain fell

1 and a half inches of rain fell in 2 and a half hours 1 1/2 inches

Answer:

The answer is :
(3)/(2) or
1(1)/(2) inches.

Explanation:

In the first 1/6 hour of a rainstorm, 1/10 inch of rain fell.

So, in 1 hour the rain fell =
((1)/(10))/((1)/(6) )

=
(1)/(10)*(6)/(1)= (6)/(10) inches

So, in
(5)/(2) hours, the rain fell =
(5)/(2) *(6)/(10)

=
(3)/(2) inches or
1(1)/(2) inches.
