The equation of a line in standard form: Ax + By = C.

The point-slope form:

y-y_1=m(x-x_1)\\\\m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

We have the points (-3, 1) and (2, -4).

Substitute:

m=(-4-1)/(2-(-3))=(-5)/(5)=-1\\\\y-1=-1(x-(-3))\\\\y-1=-(x+3)\\\\y-1=-x-3\qquad|+1\\\\y=-x-2\qquad|+x\\\\x+y=-2
