Which word in the sentence does the adjective clause modify? For instance, we saw Silvia, whose hair is light blond like straw. A. blond B. saw C. we D. Silvia

The adjective clause describes Silvia. Since adjective clauses describe nouns, your only two options from the four answer choices are “we” and “Silvia.” “Whose hair is light blond like straw” can’t modify “we,” so it’d be “Silvia.” :)
