the laps and mins go up at a constant rate.

2-4 is a difference of 2, as they all are

10-20 is a difference of 10, as they all are.

for half way between 6 and 8 is 7 which would be half way between 30 and 40 which is 35 mins

so 7 laps is 35 mins (that's a big track!)
