B i believe. I took the quiz a few years ago but this story was a good one. Rikki Tikki is trying to get rid of the snakes and thus their children.

The answer is B) Smash them to destroy the baby snakes. Rikki-Tikki knew that if the snakes were to hatch they could kill a man or a mongoose. He intended to smash the eggs so that the would not be able to do any harm to anyone in the future. Cobras are very poisonous to humans so Rikki felt this must be done to protect his family.
