What is the axis of symmetry for f(x)= 3x^2??

the y-axis, that is x = 0

the equation of a parabola in the form f(x) = ax²

has it's vertex at the origin and since the axis of symmetry passes through the vertex then

the axis of symmetry is the y- axis
