I would say D. To stop doing a particular behavior.

Here is why:

When you have a habit, for instance biting your nails, and you want to "Break the habit" You want to stop it for good. You don't want to continue to do it. It may "lessen" as you continue to break a certain habit, but you will want to completely stop doing the particular behavior for good.
