answer:

\frac{2 {x}^(2) + x + 9 }{x + 1}
solution:

(2x(x + 1) + 4 - x + 5)/(x + 1) = \frac{2 {x}^(2) + 2x - x + 5 + 4}{x + 1} = \frac{2 {x}^(2) + x + 9 }{x + 1}

or maybe I should understand it in another way, then the answer would be
(x+9)/(x+1)

solution

(2x+4-x+5)/(x+1)=(x+9)/(x+1)
