A camcorder has a power rating of 16 watts. If the output voltage from its battery is 2 volts what current does it use

In this sense, I believe that we simply divide both currents.


\sf {power=voltage \ (x) \ current} \\ The \ power \ is ... 16 \\ Which \ divides \ from \ 2.

Therefore, we do 16 / 2 = ... 8. And to check answer, we turn back to equation. 8 = voltage (x) (2) equals 16.
