2x+3y=6 ----> first equation

5x+2y=4 ------> second equation

Lets try to eliminate x

To eliminate x we need to make the coefficients same

In the given equation we have 2x and 5x

We need to make the coefficients same and opposite sign

We multiply the first equation by 5 and second equation by -2

10x + 15y= 30

-10x - 4y = -8

-------------------------- (add both equations)

0x + 11y = 22

11y = 22

Answer is 11 y = 22
