(1,-3) and (3,1) are the given points

To find equation of line , we need to find slope and y intercept

Slope intercept form of the line is y=mx+b

To find slope we use slope formula

m= (y_2 - y_1)/(x_2 - x_1)

(1,-3) is (x1,y1) and (3,1) is (x2,y2)

m= (1-(-3))/(3 - 1)

m= (4))/(2)

slope m = 2

y = mx + b

use slope m =2 and (3,1)

1 = 2(3) + b

1 = 6 + b

b = -5

Equation of the line is y = 2x - 5
