Answer: left side approaches -∞ and right side approaches +∞

Explanation:

End behavior can be determined by two things:

  • Sign of leading coefficient
  • Degree of function

Sign

positive: right side goes to +∞

negative: right side goes to -∞

⇒ the function is positive so the right side will go to +∞

Degree

even degree: same direction (for left and right sides)

odd degree: opposite directions (for left and right sides)

⇒ the function has a degree of 11 (add the exponents of 7 and 4 to get the degree) so the left and right sides will go in opposite directions.
