6-8/2-(-2)=-2/4

-2-4=-1/2

x=-1/2

The slope of the line that passes through (2,6) and (-2,8) is -1/2.

Answer:

-1/2

Explanation:

(2,6)=(x1,y1)

(-2,8)=(x2,y2)

the equation to find the slope of a line is m=y2-y1/x2-x1

soo that means you would do 8-6 which is 2

then

you would do -2-2 which is -4

so you would divide 2 by -4 which would give you -1/2
