You must know the right why on how to take it. Leaders believe that they are so supposed to know everything, as if they are gods who can do no wrong, and they may feel humiliated when given criticism. They need to be able to know how to handle the humility in order to take criticism positively. Like “oh, there was something I could have done better? Well, it’s a good thing I know what to do next time.” And not, “I already know what I’m doing, I don’t need help!”
