Wealth and power have the greatest effect on one's social class in the United States.
However, several factors affect a person from different social classes, such as health, family life or access to education, and the effects on a person from a social group of individuasl may be very different.
In an hierarchy based on wealth, income, education and occupation, these items are attached to opportunities and resources a person acquires, depending on which social level they are inserted.
A lower class person can face financial issues for a daily survival, while an upper class person can suffer the stress for dealing with pressures from the business word, or politician, for example.
