1/(4a) & 5/(6a)

(3)(1/4a)=3/12a

(2)(5/6a)=10/12a

Answer:

12a

Explanation:

The least common divisor refers to the smallest common number that multiplies all of them, so in this case, the Least Common Factor is

4 6 | 2

2 3 | 2

1 3 | 3

1 1

So, the LCD is
2 * 2 * 3 =12, and the variable would be just a, because it's already the least possible one.

Theferefore, the LCD is 12a

In the process to obtain the LCD we just separated each number in their prime factors.
