Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare (1599) presents the famous speech delivered by Mark Antony in which he refers to Caesar's death. Antony resorts to many rhetorical devices such as irony and repetition in order to appeal to emotions. As regards the form, he uses blank verse which is a type of poetic composition characterized by having a regular metric and no rhyme.
