Jacob hired handyman to fix his roof the handyman charge to send the total of $1650 which included a $848 charde for the parts needed.He asked for a breakdown of the bill and noticed that the work done to his roof after t hours can be modeled by the equation 1650=848+40.1t

In order to find the number of hours that the handyman took to work on the roof, you need to isolate "t".

Here we go:

1650 = 848 + 40.1t

subtract 848 from each side of the equation

802 = 40.1t

divide both side of the equation by 40.1

20 = t

So the handyman worked for 20 hours on the roof!

There you go! I really hope this helped, if there's anything just let me know! :)
