length = 1.5 w

perimeter = 2(l+w)

substitute 119 for p and 1.5 for w

119 = 2 (1.5w +w)

119 = 2 (2.5w)

119 = 5w

23.8 = w

l = 1.5w

l = 1.5 * 23.8

l =35.7

the length is 35.7 and the width is 23.8
