14x + 7 + 44 + 9x + 3 = 180

You want to have your x isolated on one side and one number on the other side of the equation.

First off, start by adding the 3 numbers on the left side of the equation :

7 + 44 + 3 = 54

14x + 9x + 54 = 180

Now add both "x" values on the left side of the equation :

14x + 9x = 23x

23x + 54 = 180

Subtract 54 on each side of the equation

23x = 126

Divide by 23 on each side of the equation

x = 5.47826087

x ≈ 5.48

There you go! I really hope this helped, if there's anything just let me know! :)
