The Columbian Exchange totally changed trade and economy of certain areas.

First of Atlantic Ocean became the center of trade, as most of the products were exchanged on the line Europe-Americas. Many new products were introduced, which totally changed the diet of the people, but also their beliefs, both religious and scientific. Mediterranean seized to be a center of the world, and West Africa was the center of slave trade.

On the other side, one of the bad sides were diseases that were brought to Americas by Europeans, including small poxes.
