AC and C is the midpoint of segment DB, what is the length of the segment AB, if AC = 3 cm.

AD = 1.5 since D is the midpoint

DC = 1.5

C is the midpoint DB then DC=CB

since DC=1.5 then CB=1.5

AB=AD + DC+CB

AB = 1.5 + 1.5+1.5

AB = 4.5cm
