What is the equation of a line that has a slope of m=−4 and passes through the point (7, 6) ? Express your answer in slope-intercept form.

point slope form

y-y1 = m (x-x1)

y-6 = -4 (x-7)

distribute

y-6 = -4x +28

add 6 to each side

y = -4x +34

this is in slope intercept form
