The molality of pentane will be be 0.84 Molality
Data given
mass of pentane = 15g
molar mass of pentane = 72.15
mass of solvent (hexane) = 245.0 g = 0.245 Kg
Solution
Molality = (given mass ÷ molar mass ) ÷ 1 Kg of solvent
Molality = ( 15 ÷ 72.15 ) ÷ 0.245 Kg
Molality = 0.84
