The INEQUALITY IS:

-4x+25>2


−4x+35>2

Step NUMBER 1: YOU have to Subtract 35 from both sides.

−4x+35−35>2−35

−4x>−33


Step number 2: You have to Divide both sides by -4.

−4x /−4 > −33/-4


YOUR ANSWER WOULD BE:

x<33/4

You would get rid of 35 by subtracting it.

- 4x > - 33
Then you would get x by itself by dividing by -4. You would also have to flip the sign since you divided by a negative.

x < 8.25
