Mr Stevenson has 160 cows goats horses and chickens on his farm 19 percent of the animals are cows 28 percent goats 13 percent horses and the rest are chickens how many chickens are on the farm

Answer:

64 chicken

Explanation:

160 x 0.19 = 30 cows if you (round)

160 x 0.28 = 45 goats if you (round)

160 x 0.13 = 21 horses if you (round)

19+28+13 = 60 percent out of 100, subtract 100%-60%= 40%

160 x 0.40 = 64 chickens.

To check you can do..

30+45+21= 96

Then you add 64 chicken to rest of the animals.

64 + 96 and you get all the animals.

So 64 is the answer.
