jason gave his sisters 1/4 of a pan of brownies to his sister he has three and three fourths left

If Jason gave 1/4 of the brownies to both his sisters, he only gave his sister's one pan. If he gave 1/4 to each, he gave away two pans.
Either answer may be correct, just depends on how you think about the question.
