minor axis is shorter than major axist.

The equation of a ellipse:

((x-h)^2)/(a)+((y-k)^2)/(b)=1

(h, k) - center

a, b - minor or major axis (a-horizontal, b-vertical)

The minor axis is horizontal, therefore a is minor axis and b is major axis.

Therefore your answer is:

((x-2)^2)/(10)+((y-3)^2)/(12)=1
