Since z is the midpoint, rz and zt must be equal

4x - 15 = 25

4x = 40

X = 10
Plug the answer in and rz equals 40-15 which is 25.

25 + 25 = 50

Or if you really wanted, since you know 25 is half, just add them together right off the bat. (25 and 25, I mean)

Answer:

x=10,

RZ=25

RT=50

Explanation:

We have been given a line segment. We are asked to find the length of segment RZ, Rt and x.

Since Z is the midpoint of line segment RT, so length of segment RZ will be equal to length of segment ZT.

We have been given that length of segment ZT is 25 units, so length of line segment RZ will be 25 units as well.

Using this information, we can set an equation as:

RZ=ZT

4x-15=25

4x-15+15=25+15

4x=40

(4x)/(4)=(40)/(4)

x=10

Since Z is the midpoint of line segment RT, so length of segment RT will be 2 times the length of segment ZT.

RT=2\cdot ZT

RT=2\cdot 25

RT=50
