What is the value of the expression (8-3) times 2+(5 times6) -5*5

Use PEMDAS:

P Parentheses first

E Exponents (ie Powers and Square Roots, etc.)

MD Multiplication and Division (left-to-right)

AS Addition and Subtraction (left-to-right)


(8-3)\cdot2+(5\cdot6)-5\cdot5=5\cdot2+30-25=10+30-25=40-25=15

(8-3) times 2+(5 times6) -5*5

= (8-3) * 2+(5 * 6) - 5 * 5

= 5 * 2 + 30 - 5 * 5

= 10 + 30 - 25

= 40 -25

= 15
