the other solution is 4-9i.

this comes from the formula for solution of quadratics

where you can find the +/- symbol in from of the square root of the determinant.

Answer: The other solution will be 4-9i.

Explanation:

Since we have given that

A quadratic equation has a complex solution i.e.

4+9i.

And we need to find the other solution.

As we know that complex solution always comes with its conjugate.

As complex roots occurs in pairs. i.e. complex with its conjugate.

So, it is obvious .

That the other solution will be the conjugate of 4+9i.

In conjugation, only sign of imaginary number will be changed.

So, the other solution will be 4-9i.
