Give everything a common denominator in which this case is 15:
10/15x + 60/15 = 9/15x - 30/15
Subtract the x’s
1/15x + 60/15 = 30/15
Subtract 60/15 from 30/15
1/15x = 2
Divide by 1/15
X = 30
