i believe that u subtract 65 on both sides like this
7x + 65 = 76
- 65. -65
___________
the 65 cancel out.
then........subtract 76 and 65 and bring down 7x
and finally u divide
your answer should be x = 11/7

like shown here...take away 65 from both sides and then divide 7 on both sides
