Points of Federalists
Federalists supported the Constitution and they agreed that a country should not have a central government with too much control. But they also thought a strong central government was needed to run a nation properly. Their example was how the Articles of Confederation had failed so horribly in running the nation.
How Federalists tried to prove their points
The Federalists John Jay, Alexander Hamilton, and James Madison, Made the Federalist Papers to try and prove the points of Federalists to people all over the country. The papers helped show the benefits of the constitution, and inspired many people to be federalists, so the papers were really important in the ratification of the constitution.
