Answer:

a) 0.25

b) 0.75

Explanation:

The formula to find probability is

(Favorable \ outcomes)/(total \ outcomes)

Here as deck pf playing cards has 52 cards.

So total outcomes = 52

a)

A deck of cards has 13 hearts.

Favorable outcomes = 13

Probability of drawing a Heart

=(13)/(52)= (1)/(4)=0.25

b)

A deck of cards has 13 cards of clubs.

So the cards which are not clubs = 52-13=39

Hence favorable outcomes = 39

Probability of not drawing a club card

=(39)/(52)= (3)/(4)=0.75
