Coordinating conjunctions are words that are usually placed at the middle of a phrase, a list of words or clauses.

The conjunctions principal function is to join the meanings of phrases, words or clauses.

We can name seven principal CC:

And, but, for, nor, or, so, and yet

Batman is a hero and he saves the city from a lot of criminals.

There was a meteor shower and the crew didn't know how to avoid them.

Gillian did not like to read so she wasn´t very good at it.

In Grammar, we use conjunctions to connect words, thoughts, phrases, ideas, and sentences.

The most common conjunctions are so, and, but, neither, yet, whether, as.
