Workers were affected by scientific management because it caused workers to, in a sense, become replaceable. Workers, under scientific management, were considered to be parts in a machine which could be replaced. Correspondingly, specialization caused tasks to become routine, as workers were completing the same tasks repeatedly to a point were they became bored and exhausted of their jobs. This also led to there being a larger number of injured workers.
