It'll be the first segment because the points on the first segment have 1 point in the middle and none of them else in the middle.

Hope this Helped!!

Answer:

The first graph ( one that is attached to the answer) best represents the statement.

Explanation:

Midpoint--

A mid point is a point which is located in between 2 point i.e. it exist in the middle of the two points i.e. it is at equal distance from both the end points of a segment.

  • In the first graph we are given a segment cd such that the point g lie in the middle of the segment cd.
  • Whereas in the second graph there are two points in between the segment cd.

( Also, point g is close to c and is at a distance from d and hence point g is not a mid point of segment cd.

Similarly point y is close to d and is at a greater distance from c and hence it is not a mid point of segment cd)
