we have a point (x₀,y₀) and the slope m.
y-y₀=m(x-x₀)
Given two points (x₁,y₁) and (x₂,y₂) the slope will be:
m=(y₂-y₁)/( x₂-x₁) or m=(y₁-y₂)/(x₁-x₂)

m=(4-3) / (4-2)=1/2
