Answer:

A. -1

Explanation:

2x⁴ - 7x³ + 4x² + 7x - 6

2(1) - 7(-1) + 4(1) + 7(-1) - 6

2 + 7 + 4 - 7 - 6 = 0

6 + 7 - 7 - 6 = 0

2(256) - 7(64) + 4(16) + 7(4) - 6 = 0

512 - 448 + 64 + 28 - 6 = 0

604 - 454 is not equal to 0

2(625) - 7(125) + 4(25) + 7(5) - 6 = 0

1385 - 881 is not equal to 0
