42 drank iced tea

60 drank either water or lemonade

So the ratio would be 42:60 or 7/10 as a fraction.

So D is the correct answer

Answer:

D.
(7)/(10)

Explanation:

Given,

Number of adults who drank iced tea = 42,

Bottled water = 24,

And, Lemonde = 36,

Thus, the total number of adults who drank either water or lemonade = 24 + 36 = 60

Hence, the ratio of adults who drank drank iced tea and who drank either water or lemonade

=\frac{\text{Adults who drank iced tea}}{\text{Adults who drank either water or lemonade}}

=(42)/(60)

Since, the HCF(42,60) = 6,

=(42/ 6)/(60/ 6)

=(7)/(10)

Option 'D' is correct.
