Diego made a graph of two quantities that he measured and said, “The points all lie on a line except one, which is a little bit above the line. This means that the quantities can’t be proportional.” Do you agree with Diego? Explain.

Given statement is “The points all lie on a line except one, which is a little bit above the line. This means that the quantities can’t be proportional.”

We know that points linear graph means both variables participating in that graph are proportional. But since 1 point does't lies on the graph so we can say that the given two quantities are NOT proportional just because of that 1 point.

Hence Yes I agree with Diego's answer.
