What is the slope of 6,0 and 0,8

The slope is change in y divided by change in x. It doesn't matter what order we take the points but we need to be consistent.


m = (y_2 - y_1)/(x_2 - x_1) = (8 - 0)/(0 - 6) = - \frac 4 3

Answer: -4/3
