-4≤2x+6<12

-6 -6 -6

-10≤2x<6

-6 -6

-15≤2x

-15÷2x=-7.5

2÷2=x

7.5=x

For this case we have the following inequality:

-4\leq 2x + 6 <12

We want to clear x, for this we start subtracting 6 from each term, that is:

-4-6\leq 2x + 6-6 <12-6

Resolving the operations we have left:

-10\leq 2x <6

We divide by 2 each term:

-(10)/(2)\leq(2x)/(2) <(6)/(2)

Resolving the operations we obtain:

-5\leq x<3

That is: x: [-5,3)

Answer:

-5\leq x<3
