The answer is $9, how I got my answer.

I simply multiplied, if the manual saw cost $3, and the electric saw cost 3 times as much, then multiply, 3×3=9.

well if the manual saw cost 3 dollars and the electric saw cost 3 times as much then you would get the answer by taking 3 times 3 which would 9
