You've signed up for an exciting two-day workshop on small business Web design. What can you do in advance that will help you network effectively at the meeting? A. Study up on the jargon so you'll sound informed. B. Talk to your friends about the event, so you're energized when the day arrives. C. Make sure your cassette recorder has batteries so you can record the sessions and listen to them later. D. Do research on the instructors and panel members so you can talk to them about their work.

Since a "jargon" is defined as "special words or expressions that are used by a particular profession or group and are difficult for others to understand", I wouldn't think A. is the best answer.

Looking at B., I really doubt that getting pumped up for the workshop will help you network the most effectively.

C. seems unlikely also.

That leaves D. Doing research on the panel members and instructors is a great thing to in advance to get ready for the workshop, because it would enable you to communicate better with them and ask more insightful questions.

Hope this helps :)

Answer:

The correct answer is letter "A": Study up on the jargon so you'll sound informed.

Step-by-step explanation:

While engaging a new course or a new workshop it is very important to make a prior research on what the field of study is going to be so it will be helpful for us to advance in the course or workshop at the same time of the moderators or the closest possible since we will be attending the studies with previous knowledge. It is our choice to deep into the topics or at least study basic jargon of the course so we will not lose track.
